As a data integration tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of data integration processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data sources, verify transformations, ensure accuracy of loading into target systems through data pipelines, API testing, and contribute to data lake development. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot will contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and executive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate integration processes based on business requirements and specifications.
Analyze source data for quality concerns throughout the ETL process and API endpoints.
Identify defects and issues in the integration process and work with cross teams to rectify them.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data pipelines and source systems.
Troubleshoot erroneous results and determine root causes of defects.
Assist in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for data integration testing
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Communicate testing results effectively to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Understand cloud principles, scalability, and security (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Document test results, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
Contribute to data lake development initiatives, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
Improve data architecture and data governance with industry best practices.
