REGIONAL MANAGER - SALES

ZS is seeking sales talent with a diverse background and track record of achievement selling into Enterprise organizations. This individual will be responsible for building, hunting and creating viable clients through various verticals, resulting in sales and revenue generation for a new groundbreaking venture. A successful Sales Manager will handle and manage internal leads, cold call prospects, qualify prospects, and lead executive level presentations & demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, close and grow partnerships with customers through internal leads, cold calling, and other channels;
  • Articulate differentiators and outcomes to clients, distinguishing us from competition and market constraints;
  • Find and motivate customers to engage in discussions through presentations, demonstrations and industry events;
  • Leverage creative ideas and multi-channel selling tools to create awareness and build brand knowledge and loyalty;
  • Manage customer relationship and success long term to a high level of customer satisfaction, retention and growth potential;
  • Organize, lead and present during in-person and virtual meetings and events;
  • Travel within target territories and to industry trade shows to present capabilities and educate prospects on ZS;
  • Collaborate with the team to build and execute timely customer proposals and RFP responses, with precision and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, 9+ years of proven strategic sales experience in major account management;
  • Experience selling into Food & Beverage, Travel & Hospitality, and Fashion is preferred;
  • Sales Development Representative, Account Executive, Business Development Representative and/or Business Development Manager or a hunter role in AI/Cloud and or SaaS, ideally in Emerging Technology, Marketing Technology or Analytics;
  • Understanding of marketing strategy, consumer behavior, and personalization a plus;
  • Experience selling directly to executive level stakeholders;
  • Well versed in sales trainings, sales methodologies, and closing techniques
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization in an entrepreneurial environment;
  • Ability to operate fairly independently with a high degree of autonomy;
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build strategic, high-level relationships as a trusted advisor with clients and industry partners;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
