DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to join our team in Seattle. You will develop the roadmap of AI Products in commercial, personalization, consumer and NLP such as P.AI, Next-Best Action, Dynamic Targeting and ATLAS. Working hand in hand with firm leadership, product managers, clients, and your own team, you will have an immediate impact in steering a major product portfolio.

You will drive improvement in product practices to make collaboration more effective, prioritize cross-business features and to make the roadmap more impactful. The individual must have proven experience in client & business interactions, building and scaling strong product teams that deliver quality products working very collaboratively with business stakeholders, UX, Product Management, and Engineering Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • You will own product vision, product strategy and product roadmap for multiple business functions
  • Work with product managers, user experience designers, Dev engineers, QA analysts, consultants, and program managers to ensure that we build tools that wow our internal and external clients
  • Stand up for product management practices that ensure quality products: innovation, competitive analysis, market sizing, licensing, roadmap prioritization, client interaction, etc.
  • Know and care about what customers want from our service - and be willing to stand up for it!
  • Translate complex business needs into functional and technical requirements, leading to efficient roadmap & manageable release schedule
  • You have a knack of delivering new product features while keeping sight the of the industry, competition & market trends.
  • Coach your team by providing clear career objects, priorities, technical advice, and performance reviews
  • Hire and grow world class product managers. Motivate teams to go above and beyond while instilling accountability and keeping a focus on delivering results
  • Empower your team to use industry best-in-class tools and technologies
  • Assign and track deliverables to make sure your team meets internal and external deadlines

Qualifications:

ZS welcomes candidates with strong management and excellent technical experience.

  • 7+ years of product/analytics experience
  • Ability to manage a global team and, leading a high performing team of product, design, technology, and business folks.
  • Good understanding of engineering practices with modern web & mobile application platform, Cloud technologies (Big Data & ML desired)
  • Prior experience of developing analytical & transactional applications with high volume users
  • Demonstrated experience in working across multiple products in a BU, its stakeholders and demonstrate a high degree of influence across several teams/functions.
  • Strong verbal, written and team presentation communication skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity with evolving business needs
  • Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational navigation skills
  • Drive to push major initiatives, product changes, or process improvements across our development organization
  • Ability to work in global cross-office teams, including travelling to remote offices as required
  • Ability to operate independently with a high degree of autonomy
  • ZS is a global firm; fluency in English is required

Additional Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's in applied Fields & Science majors
  • Experience managing a team using test driven development methodology
