Responsibilities:
- Develop backend software to support real-time collaboration services;
- Design and develop the communication framework for microservice;
- Monitor and assess operation of backend services;
- Develop optimization techniques to improve the performance and scalability of the backend microservices;
- Implement the business logics in a gateway backend service written in Lua programming language; and
- Perform code review and make amendments to the colleague engineers' c++ implementations.
What we're looking for:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, a related field, or a foreign equivalent;
- Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
- Must have 5 years of experience in C++ Programming;
- Must have 5 years of experience in Lua Programming;
- Must have 5 years of experience in Real-time server development;
- Must have 5 years of experience in gRPC framework design and development;
- Must have 5 years of experience in Gateway backend service development;
- Must have 5 years of experience in Asynchronous micro service communication development;
- Must have 5 years of experience in Synchronous Rest API development; and
- Must have 5 years of experience in Server performance optimization.
- Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$172,600.00
Maximum:
$228,700.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
