About the role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Zillow, you will leverage your business acumen, technical expertise, and program management skills to support the Finance Technology team. You will dive deep into finance processes and our technical strategy, collaborating with partners from Product, Engineering, and Finance. Your responsibilities include shaping and prioritizing the team's roadmap, defining cross-team solutions and technical requirements, and steering projects to successful completion.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, FinTech, You Will Get To:

  • Lead scrum teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and resolve blockers as needed.
  • Manage and support key technical initiatives to deploy financial functionality to support Zillow's growth.
  • Drive technology strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision for finance technology at Zillow Group.
  • Dive deep into technical solutions across teams, driving technical design, planning, and delivery.
  • Ensure the team follows appropriate planning, testing, and execution processes.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and regularly communicate project status.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, finding ways to achieve project goals in dynamic environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of managed applications and processes.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $145,500.00 - $232,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Strong program management background with well-rounded technical skills in system design.
  • Hands-on "do-er" who can develop and drive high-level initiatives and get the job done.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and lead with maturity and emotional intelligence.
  • Customer-focused with great attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with custom-built and SaaS products, with at least 3 years working with financial applications.
  • Experience leading medium to large-scale projects across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, technology, and business processes.
  • Ability to translate business and technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Experience defining program-level roadmaps that align the needs of multiple partners.
