Zillow's New Construction business is building the largest and most vibrant platform for New Construction builders and home shoppers. The New Construction Product Team works to deliver solutions that enable home shoppers to discover new homes through best-in-class shopping experiences. In addition, the team aims to offer new home builders effective solutions to grow their business. Through our collaboration with engineering, design, data science, research as well as sales and operations, we are continually pushing to deliver on the right business outcomes.
About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager who is passionate about changing how people find and buy newly built homes. In this role, you will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for initiatives that enable homebuyers and home builders. You will work closely with partner product teams in addition to our dedicated engineering teams.

Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for New Construction focused initiatives, balancing user needs with business outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to prioritize and execute the most impactful work.
- Lead the product from concept to design, specification, implementation, and analysis.
- Use data, customer insights, and experimentation to identify opportunities, measure impact, and iterate on product features.
- Partner closely with design and engineering to wow your users.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels, including leadership and external partners.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $145,500.00 - $232,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of building and scaling customer-facing technology products in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and execute effectively with minimal direction.
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration, aligning partners across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, Operations, and Legal.
- Skilled in making data-informed decisions through experimentation, behavioral analytics, and user insights.
- Proficient in writing product requirements, leading agile delivery teams, and iterating quickly to deliver business impact.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to gain alignment and influence across technical and business teams, and produce clear, structured, and persuasive documents.
- Innovative and growth-minded, with experience leveraging AI to accelerate product development or enhance customer experiences, and a continuous drive to deepen product understanding.
