About the role
Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly shape the mortgage experience for homebuyers, ensuring they receive accurate, competitive pricing and a seamless transaction. As a Senior Capital Markets Pricing Analyst, you'll collaborate across teams to optimize pricing strategies, drive process improvements, and help deliver a simpler, more empowering journey for customers navigating one of life's biggest financial decisions.
You Will Get To:
- Partner with sales and fulfillment to ensure accurate pricing and proper documentation of borrower rate locks.
- Process and manage lock updates, extensions, withdrawals, and change requests from loan officers and fulfillment teams.
- Produce daily rate sheets, monitor market movement, and analyze pricing changes to reprice as needed.
- Independently review pricing scenarios, negotiate price exceptions within management parameters, and manage Best Effort pipeline and lock expirations.
- Maintain and update price and product engine (PPE) rules, including Mortech programs, to ensure pricing accuracy and eligibility.
- Track and communicate investor updates, pricing changes, and guideline changes with internal teams, Mortech and investors.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities in Encompass and Mortech for Lock Desk's daily activities.
- Serve as a liaison between ZHL and investors, addressing issues related to Best Effort pricing and locks.
- High Cost Fail/Review/Cure requests as needed.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $35.90 - $57.30 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 4+ year of mortgage experience required with at least 2 years of rate lock or secondary market experience
- Able to work required hours of Monday through Friday, 12pm-9pm CST (10am-7pmPST)
- Basic level knowledge of Agency, Government, Jumbo loan programs
- Strong knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), specifically Encompass
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong mathematical, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service orientation, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Versatile team player with strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a willingness to work within evolving priorities and business processes.
