Strategic Projects Partner

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a dynamic, Human Resources-focused Program Manager to join our newly formed Zendesk Office of the Chief People and Diversity Officer (OCPDO) to drive cross-functional projects and programs for our Human Resources teams. Your job as an HR Strategic Projects Partner is to keep programs moving forward by building plans and focusing on key milestones for projects within Human Resources.

In this role, you will partner closely with multiple teams across Human Resources, including Total Rewards, Operations, Talent & Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, and Global Equity, Inclusion & Belonging to disseminate information, summarize and surface program updates clearly, concisely, and accurately, as well as resolve issues as they arise. You are a great facilitator and able to work with multiple different partners and personalities. You will be hands-on to tackle challenges and will own the end-to-end delivery of your programs.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize projects, find opportunities for improvement and drive implementation, while continually scaling current processes
  • Lead the articulation and documentation of OCPDO strategies and ensure those are clearly communicated
  • Set up an appropriate infrastructure including cross-functional team meetings, status reporting, and informal conversations to track program status, and surface reporting/metrics
  • Track all elements of your projects to ensure that deliverables are on track and every deadline is being met
  • Anticipate areas of risk and determine ways to mitigate and resolve them
  • Cultivate a culture of candidness and clarity to increase the likelihood of program success
  • Have a positive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of your program team members

What you bring to the role

Required

  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • 3+ years in a Program Management role
  • Experience creating and driving Human Resources projects/programs within an organization
  • Experience facilitating efficient and productive meetings

Preferred

  • Collaboration, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Influence led to build trust among your teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get things done!
  • Asana management experience

Where We Work:

In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our Mexico City office on a weekly basis for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.

Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
