Marketing Data & Analytics Lead

We are seeking a results-oriented Marketing Data & Analytics Lead to spearhead our marketing analytics initiatives. This strategic role will be instrumental in extracting insights from complex data sets to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaign performance, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, marketing attribution, and reporting, as well as the leadership skills required to build and guide a high-performing analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy and Management:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy for the marketing department, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
    • Manage and optimize data collection processes and pipelines to support advanced data analysis and reporting needs.

  • Lead analysis on large data sets to uncover actionable insights, trends, and opportunities that inform marketing strategies.
  • Perform customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, and cohort analysis to enhance targeting and personalization efforts.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization:

    • Design and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reports that provide visibility into the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various channels.
    • Work closely with campaign managers to refine marketing efforts based on data-driven insights and to maximize ROI.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Build, manage, and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Provide training and support to marketing team members in using data and analytics tools effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and IT, to align marketing data strategies with company-wide initiatives.
    • Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Innovation and Technology:

    • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and advancements in marketing analytics to ensure the company remains at the forefront of data capabilities.
    • Evaluate and recommend marketing technology investments to enhance data and analytical competencies.

  • Qualifications

    • 4 - 5 years of experience in a marketing analytics role, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes.
    • Expertise in analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Tableau, Looker).
    • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage directly with all levels of the organization.

    Being digital first doesnt mean were digital only. In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our Mexico City office on a weekly basis for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.

    Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
