What We Need

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will leverage our tech stack—Tableau, Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran—to develop and maintain scalable data analytics solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This includes creating dashboards and reports, managing data warehouses, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

 

What You Can Expect In This Role

  • Data Modeling and Warehouse Design: Use Snowflake to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based data warehouse solutions. (5 Years)
  • ETL and Data Integration: Utilize Fivetran to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse. Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data processing. (5-7 years)
  • Data Transformation: Employ dbt (data build tool) for transforming data within the data warehouse, ensuring that data is reliable, well-documented, and easily accessible to end-users. (3-5 years)
  • Analytics and Visualization: Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide insights and analytics to business stakeholders. Ensure that data visualizations are user-friendly, accurate, and timely. (1-3 years)
  • Data Governance and Quality: Implement policies and practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and security. Monitor data quality and work to resolve data issues. (1-3 years)
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and organizational stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines, SQL queries, and BI solutions to ensure efficient data processing and report generation. (5-7 years)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Tableau(1 yrs), Snowflake(5-7 years), dbt(3 years), and Fivetran(1-3 years).
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.(7 years)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. (5-7 years)
  • Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining BI solutions. (1-3 years)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Hiring Process

Select candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We will discuss the Hiring Process details at that time. The hiring process typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • A 60 minute video interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Candidates will be invited to join a remote on-site interview round, consisting of video interviews with various team members and leadership.
  • Successful candidates will subsequently be made an offer.

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $125,000-$155,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
