We're growing! Yext is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Creative team and take design ownership across client accounts. Please note: Your application must include a link to your website/online portfolio.
As a UX/UI Designer at Yext, you’ll play a critical role in shaping user experiences across our platform, from wireframes to final designs. You'll contribute to projects through all phases of the design process, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to transform complex workflows and data-rich applications into intuitive, engaging experiences.
You’re a thoughtful, creative problem-solver who enjoys turning challenges into elegant design solutions. With a strong foundation in UX/UI principles, you approach design systematically and with an eye for detail. You’ll help translate technical and business requirements into scalable, user-friendly designs, and your work will have a direct impact on how our clients interact with Yext products.
Working alongside our design manager and a talented team of UX/UI designers, you’ll contribute to solving complex problems for top-tier brands, helping to elevate our design standards and grow our team's craft. The ideal candidate is a collaborative designer with solid experience across UX and UI, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

What You'll Do
- Contribute to thoughtful, high-quality design solutions that align with Yext’s design system, accessibility standards, and client brand guidelines
- Translate requirements into responsive wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes that communicate clear, user-friendly experiences across devices and screen sizes
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (Design, Product, Engineering, and Platform Consultants) to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with project goals
- Learn and apply best practices in UX/UI design and web accessibility, incorporating feedback from peers and stakeholders to refine and improve design work
- Participate in regular design critiques, offering and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality and clarity of your work
- Review staging environments to ensure accuracy of visual implementation, brand consistency, and intended interactions before launch
- Support the evolution and consistent application of our design system by contributing reusable components, documentation, and ideas for future improvements
- Stay curious and bring relevant insights or techniques from your past work to elevate design discussions and execution across the team
- Prioritize tasks effectively and communicate progress, blockers, and questions clearly within the design team to stay aligned and efficient
- Actively seek feedback and opportunities for growth while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive, and quality-driven design culture
What You Have
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer, working on web applications or digital products at mid-to-large-sized companies
- A BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, visual communication, product, HCI) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Figma, with hands-on experience using components, auto layout, design tokens (text and color styles), and prototyping tools, and a drive to deepen your expertise
- A strong understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns, with some experience designing around data variability and scalable systems
- Exposure to brand design principles, with an eye for visual consistency, typography, color, and layout
- Familiarity with day-to-day tools like Slack, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), and version control for design files
- A polished online portfolio that communicates your process, shows a range of UX and UI work, and is free of typos or formatting issues
- A growth mindset — you’re eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and ready to contribute ideas that help your team and your designs get better over time

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and how design translates into code, even if not hands-on
- Experience contributing to or using design systems and style guides, with attention to consistency and scalability
- Exposure to user testing methods, with the ability to support or participate in remote testing sessions to gather feedback and insights
- Engaged in learning from the broader design community, whether through online platforms, events, or self-directed exploration
