People Analytics Manager

Yext is seeking a strategic, results-oriented, and hands-on People Analytics Manager to join our People team. This critical role will define the People Team’s data strategy, build and scale our analytics capabilities, and provide actionable, executive-ready insights to drive informed business decisions and improve organizational effectiveness. You will act as a primary analytics partner to HR and business leaders, owning projects that span the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and engagement to retention and compensation equity. We are looking for someone with previous experience in analytics within the people function who is a self-starter, innovative, and detail-oriented
What You’ll Do
This role blends strategic partnership, business consulting, and strong technical execution across the People data ecosystem.
- Business Consultation & Influence: Serve as the primary analytics partner to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Recruiting, and executive teams, translating complex cross-functional data into compelling narratives that surface risks, inform strategy, and ensure organizational alignment.
- Advanced Modeling & Analysis: Develop and apply statistical and predictive models to analyze key trends such as employee attrition, engagement, and performance, resulting in creative and actionable people strategies.
- Reporting & Tool Development: Build and maintain reports, data models, and scalable dashboards (primarily using Tableau) that transform complex data into intuitive, decision-ready insights.
- Data Infrastructure & Integrity: Partner with the HRIS and Business Systems teams to deploy and support a robust people data warehouse, design governance frameworks, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
- Regulatory and Compliance Reporting: Complete all required compliance and regulatory reporting, partnering closely with the Legal and HR Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and timely submission.

What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or similar college-level education required, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a business-related degree
- 3+ years of relevant hands-on analytics experience, including experience building statistical models and translating those insights into actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across different functions
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Hands-on Workday experience (report/dashboard building is a plus)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
- Ability to clearly communicate analysis to a variety of audiences, including senior leaders
- IT partnering and database management (experience with Snowflake preferred)
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, and pulling data from relational databases is a strong plus
- Comprehensive understanding of People data and employee lifecycle processes (talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning, DEI, etc.).
- A self-starter capable of managing projects and process changes independently from initiation to completion.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
