We're looking for someone with and eagerness to learn and some autobody experience (waxing, buffing, painting, sanding) to join our dynamic team as a Tool Maker C and help us continue producing world-class boats.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs any combination of a variety of tasks to produce quality plugs for boat building.

JOB DUTIES:

• Learn and assist with any toolmaking process
• Learn and assist with laminating skin coats and fill resins to produce quality molds
• Learn and assist in bracing, tying-in, and separating molds
• Learn and assist in mixing solutions properly for fiberglass laminations
• Learn and assist in trimming, grinding, sanding, buffing, and waxing molds
• Learn and assist in repair and preparation of gel coated surfaces
• Assist with any 5-S procedure
• Accurate use of measuring tolls, rulers, squares, protractors, etc.
• Maintain a clean workstation and inform supervisor of needed materials
• Any other duties assigned

• Must have basic carpentry skills
• Ability to perform walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling for entire work shift
• Work overtime when required
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
• Ability to work in the heat with high humidity
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and fiberglass
• Use of air powered and electric hand and shop tools and machines
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Have good quality working habits and comply with all company policies
