General Description of Major Tasks of Position
The IT Support Analyst II role manages and maintains the QAD / ERP system and its related components. The ideal candidate will handle local setup and maintenance tasks, including printers, users, groups, menu security, simplified screens, generalized codes, price lists, and various data interactions. Additionally, the administrator will provide comprehensive IT support, including operating system scripts, performance monitoring, and technical assistance. Coordinates activities within the IT Divisions at Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing, Skeeter, and G3. Actively plans, manages, and aligns with company/business and IT strategic initiatives. May provide strategic, tactical, and operational management and oversight of initiatives. Works closely with business and manufacturing groups and colleagues to maximize the benefit of the system's investments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • ERP system administration.
  • Maintain documentation for ERP system procedures and operations.
  • Developed operating system scripts and procedures, monitored performance, and installed upgrades and patches (mainly Windows related).
  • Provided technical support, PC setup, and installation of software, hardware, and network problem resolution.
  • Troubleshoot PC hardware, software, printer problems, and system access issues.
  • Set up and configured PCs for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
  • Supported and troubleshot mobile devices and the internal applications.
  • Assisted with documents, email, Internet, VPN dial-in, and equipment shipping.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges
  • Manage technical difficulties, working with developers when necessary
  • Communicates with Business areas and ISD user groups at all levels. Works closely with the manufacturing businesses in determining strategic direction and technology solutions to meet emerging and newly identified manufacturing business requirements.


  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Educational and Work Qualifications
  • Familiarity in SQL, Visual Basic, and Linux (ERP/QAD Related).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with QAD (ERP) system administration and related tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT required.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree may be considered.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Must bring a strong sense of "customer service", multi-tasking, and urgency to ensure quick and accurate results.
  • Working knowledge cloud Application, Platform and Infrastructure information technologies.

Environmental and Working Conditions
Work involves walking, standing, sitting, reaching, etc. Majority of work performed in general office temperature-controlled environment; some work may be required in non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment subject to seasonal temperature variations. Some travel will be required.
