Senior Manager, Customer Marketing

As the Senior Manager, Customer Marketing at Wunderkind, you will lead our efforts to deepen engagement with our existing client base through strategic marketing initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing client retention, lowering risk of churn, promoting upsell opportunities, securing client adoption of new products and services and driving client advocacy. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance customer experience and loyalty, leveraging data-driven insights to deliver personalized marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer marketing strategies to enhance retention and loyalty. This includes development of a welcome series and content repository for customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create targeted campaigns for customer segments, focusing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities as well as new product adoption. This supports content and presentations for key sales events and includes all channels including events, email, sms, etc..
  • Design and oversee the execution of customer engagement programs, including loyalty programs, customer advocacy initiatives, and personalized communications.
  • Develop, deploy and measure success on content initiatives such as new product releases, roadmap presentations, thought leadership and practitioner level content for all relevant stakeholders in client organizations. This includes the publishing of the 'CMO's of Tomorrow' initiative to engage and inspire non-decision maker roles in client orgs.
  • Analyze customer data in partnership with existing business teams to identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities for business growth and retention goals.
  • Lead Customer Advisory Board initiatives to identify key objectives and KPIs, identify customers for participation, develop content, presentations and events along with the feedback channels needed to ensure customer insights are integrated into broader marketing strategies.
  • Lead the customer marketing team, setting objectives, reviewing performances, and facilitating professional development.
  • Coordinate with the sales and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Track and report on customer marketing campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Wunderkind.co maintains a competitive edge in customer marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on customer or relationship marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful customer marketing strategies in the e-commerce or retail sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management systems (CRMs) and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in e-commerce, retail marketing, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on results.

The base salary range for this role is $97,000 to $122,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
