About the Role:
Wunderkind is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Professional Services team.
We’re looking for a software engineer who is collaborative, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact. In this position you will play a critical role in delivering technical solutions and services for our clients. You will sit within a cross-functional Services team, working with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the process of scoping and implementing technical solutions, including third-party integrations with our client’s tech stack
- Write errorless JavaScript and test appropriately, ensuring the end-to-end expectations are working properly
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on WKND products and best practices
- Perform extensive data validation to ensure proper collection of data
- Comprehensively document implementations to be referenced by internal and external users
- Mentor and provide guidance to engineers across the global organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
- Professional Javascript experience, Go and PHP experience is a plus
- Experience writing third party API integrations, preferably with ESPs
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Positive “Can-Do” attitude with the ability to be flexible with changing demands
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Excellent problem solving & collaboration skills
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Experience with GitHub and GitLab
- Preferred: Experience with SQL & Unix commands
- A plus: Knowledge of ETL solutions
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
