Position Summary

We are seeking a People Operations Manager to join our People team. The People Operations Manager is responsible for delivering a high-impact employee experience through streamlined operations, data integrity, and systems management. This role supports the day-to-day rhythm of the People function while driving strategic projects across the employee lifecycle and supporting global People Operations. This position also partners closely with IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for a seamless employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in the HRIS system.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure policy and legal adherence.
  • Maintain and develop internal HR documentation, policies, and SOPs.

HR Operations and Support:

  • Manage the HR Employee Mailbox & Ticketing System as the first level of support for employee inquiries.
  • Respond to employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • Analyze employee survey data (e.g., job satisfaction) to drive improvements.

HR Initiatives and Systems:

  • Collaborate on corporate-wide HR initiatives.
  • Support implementation of new HR systems, policies, and programs.
  • Assist with job analysis, performance evaluations, and performance management systems.
  • Serve as administrator and configuration support for Workday and related HR systems (e.g., Greenhouse and Lattice).

Global Operations and Mobility:

  • Support global HR operations, including international onboarding, compliance, and lifecycle activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on global mobility, including visa support and relocation processes.

Project Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead project plans for process improvements and systems implementations across People Operations.
  • Work closely with IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Manage People team budget, vendor relationships, and contract management in partnership with the broader People team.

Ad Hoc Support:

  • Provide additional support to the People Operations Team as needed.
  • Serve as cross-functional backup support for the HR Systems Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years in HR operations or shared services, preferably in a fast-paced or scaling environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Experience supporting global HR Operations or International Employee administration is a plus
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience managing sensitive employee data.
  • Effective communicator with a customer service mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance best practices.
  • Comfort with global mobility support and understanding of international HR requirements.

The base salary range for this role is $70,000.00- $110,000.00. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
