Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Senior Fintech AI Software Developer. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive expertise in cloud-based web development and web architecture, automation engineering, and using AI to deliver cost effective solutions with strong knowledge of Azure app service and deployment. Someone who is passionate for front end development and AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and efficient software solutions using cutting-edge AI technologies, with a strong focus on OpenAI and other LLM models.
  • Be creative with front end designs and development to give fancy and snazzy face to the website and products delivered.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly web applications tailored to support internal finance and legal operations, leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Design and implement intuitive user interfaces using React.js or other front-end technologies to deliver exceptional user experiences using .Net framework as a platform.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in C# to implement back-end functionalities and integrations.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of software applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed web applications, addressing any issues or enhancements in a timely manner to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures for internal websites to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a software developer, with a focus on web application development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a software developer, with a focus on AI-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in OpenAI and experience working with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Expertise in front-end development using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of C# programming language and experience with .NET framework.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Azure SQL experience for cloud-based database solutions.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations are also listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:

San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $131,750 - $178,250 per year

Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $119,000 - $161,000 per year

Salt Lake City and all other locations: $105,400 - $142,600 per year

The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
