What will you be doing?

As part of the IT Shipping Execution team, you will offer world-class and reusable logistics solutions and services to WWT's shipping, transportation, and compliance teams to help them sustain, scale, and optimize efficiency.

What will you be doing?

The individual we are looking for will play a key role in implementing a Transportation Management System with Oracle Transportation Management. You will be doing integration development between Oracle EBS and Oracle TMS. You will support stakeholders and individual contributors in the Supply Chain vertical of WWT and specifically be focused on working closely with our transportation and compliance teams. You will work with other IT teams, the business, and a third-party integrator and be part of a high-performing agile team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and guide IT implementation of TMS.
  • Participate in strategic conversations in shaping the vision of a Transportation Management System for WWT to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Will be part of the design and implementation of integrations between Oracle EBS and Oracle TMS.
  • Create Service Oriented Architecture (SOACS) services for Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud.
  • Opportunity to provide application design and architecture across the Oracle Global Trade Management
  • Opportunity to enhance existing integrations from Oracle EBS to Oracle GTM.
  • Opportunity to create and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects.
  • Analyze data flow within Oracle EBS.
  • Work closely with Transportation and Compliance team stakeholders in the form of gathering requirements, demoing, offering suggestions, and potentially training.
  • Work with technical counterparts to provide functional details of requirements and work with them to deliver a technical solution.
  • Define and manage automated testing of solutions.
  • Test end-to-end solutions to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external users.

Relevant Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS/Applications.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes: Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, Purchasing, and Planning Processes.
  • Experience in Oracle Transportation Management System.
  • Experience or understanding of Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM).
  • Experience with OTM APIs and mapping for different integrations to OTM including carrier EDIs, supplier EDIs, and interfaces from ERP systems like Oracle EBS and Oracle SCM Cloud.
  • Ability to understand user requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Strong experience in integration platforms and development, preferably SOA
  • Ability to work and collaborate with business and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience or knowledge of Agile Methodology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Justransform is a plus, not required.
  • Confidence to participate and direct key decision-making regarding application architecture.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated.
  • To be a good active listener and communicator.
