Responsibilities and Actions

  • Creates and documents a client Architecture Plan that outlines key areas for discovery in a templated and programmatic manner. Updates this plan quarterly.
  • Identifies client areas for improvements and business opportunities that tie to client value.
  • Understands and can present WWT value propositions to architectural, technical and management stakeholders.
  • Gains trust & drives business with Architecture, Engineering, and business leadership via regular meetings and providing unique points of view for solving business problems and technical issues.
  • Owns critical OEM relationships and drives their understanding of how WWT advances their efforts. Understands client perspective on key OEM technologies.
  • Identifies services opportunities and works with team to propose solutions and engagements across the WWT portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of industry experience in client-side senior roles, or technology integrators, or manufacturers.
  • Architectural and technical experience with applications, Infrastructure, Cyber, Cloud, and Networking, Data Center, and End User Experience solutions. Ideally strong Application development technology and Application Architecture history and understanding of current trends and migration strategies. Deep Skills and Knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert in 2 or more critical parts of infrastructure.
  • Industry Level Certifications including CCDE, CCIE, CISSP, CDP, MCSE AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Experience in consulting with Fortune 500 IT leadership on deployment of technology solutions, ideally in a sales environment. Ideally working with clients in a digital transformation and operating model design and deployment. Architectural training and/or experience in common methodologies including TOGAF, UAM, etc.
  • Familiarity with Big Data, AI, automation, end user experience and service management technologies along with cloud technologies including containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, storage, networking, and commercial models at a high level.
  • Strong presentation skills and understanding of business impact of technology decisions. Motivated to win in selling situations by solving client issues. Passion for learning, with focus on constant expansion of technical knowledge.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $180K to $200K. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
