What will you be doing?

The Learning Consultant drives the evolution of learning and development within WWT and brings strategic, learning design to the forefront to help business units identify and solve key talent challenges. This role serves as a subject-matter expert within the Learning and Employee Development team and assists with the overall strategy and approach to learning across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with subject matter experts in various areas of the company to identify business and behavioral objectives through appropriate needs analysis and discovery
  • Work with the Learning and Employee Development team to map out long-term learning plans and select the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to support organizational learning
  • Create learning and performance support materials using needs discovery, development, delivery, and measurement of training
  • Incorporate ROI concepts into the analysis, design, and development of learning and performance support needs
  • Support self-enabled business teams in training development and delivery where needed
  • Partner with system developers to understand processes and procedures to support user navigation
  • Design performance support and learning materials, such as facilitator guides, job aids, information resources, videos, presentations, eLearning, and communication plans based on end-learner needs
  • Consult with business areas to design Learning Management System solutions to meet business needs
  • Facilitate multiple learning programs in-person and virtual
  • Perform administrative duties, including, but not limited to: scheduling and tracking of instructor-led training, assigning training, reporting, and testing new content

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Education or comparable discipline preferred
  • 4+ years of experience consulting with departments to identify learning and performance needs and solutions
  • 4+ years of experience with the development of learning programs
  • 4+ years of experience facilitating learning programs across multiple levels of an organization
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience organizing corporate learning events and programs
  • Experience tracking and documenting learning activities
  • Familiarity with external learning content providers and learning management systems
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging learning design theory and practice
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Must be willing to work in the office two to three days a week
  • Periodic evenings a few times a month are required to support global employees
