The Opportunity

The Innovator Relations Manager will play a critical role in cultivating / managing our most trusted innovator relationships and driving growth across our communities. This position will report into our Head of Innovator Relations and will be a part of the innovator relations team.

Key Qualifications & Proficiencies

  • Understanding evolving business terrains and effectively articulating the World 50/Innovation Roundtable value proposition to prospective innovators and partners
  • Actively building and managing a community of vendors at the bleeding edge of innovation
  • Cultivate and maintain strong longitudinal relationships, driving business growth and supporting innovators along their growth trajectory
  • Manage pipeline and report on key growth and relationship metrics
  • Strategic and operational lead for key processes and communications to our innovator community associated with all events
  • Support the conversion of new and existing innovators into IR products and programs (including Roundtables, the Academy, Advisory Services and more)
  • Measure and report on impact based on key metrics across a bi-annual timeline
  • Jump into other ad hoc innovator projects as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Account Management, Business Development, or Customer/Client Relations
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the flexibility to accommodate different situations and personalities
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively
  • Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality of service
  • Outstanding project management, scheduling and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrate poise in personal interactions with C-level executives

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Marketing preferred
  • 5+ years in Account Management, Business Development, or Customer/Client Relations
  • Experience with sales and CRM operations
