Role Overview

Your primary role as an associate on the content production team will be to ensure that every sentence (down to the letter) rings clear as a bell. You should be comfortable with and capable of quickly synthesising large amounts of information into concise and captivating copy. In addition, this position will collaborate with our sales, marketing, and membership teams to produce creative, high-impact multi-media content. The position reports to the Managing Director, Content Production.

The Opportunity

World 50 content producers report on some of the most intriguing business conversations in the world. They capture and contextualise the ideas of top business and government leaders, researchers, social entrepreneurs, and other inspiring global leaders, shared in a private and confidential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit the following:
    • Feature articles on business topics such as geopolitics, leadership, and transformation
    • Regionally-specific content for sales and marketing collateral
    • World 50 content, including ideas and perspectives shared by members
  • Take ownership of all aspects of content produced, to meet quality standards and strict deadlines
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to create and deliver specific content for an assigned portfolio of membership communities

Key Qualifications and Proficiencies

  • Preferred level of education: Bachelor's degree
  • Able to write and edit in American English and British English
  • 2-3 years of experience as a copywriter or editor
  • Must have a global perspective, able to cover topics (eg geopolitics, economy) with nuance
  • AP style knowledge required
  • Experience with InDesign, Canva, and other related design software a plus
  • Organised and confident self-starter who can perform in a collaborative environment while achieving challenging goals
