Senior Sales Executive, Arts & Entertainment

From music and culinary festivals to immersive exhibitions and iconic seasonal events, our team produces and curates exceptional moments that connect audiences with the best in entertainment and the arts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing all potential revenue to achieve/exceed targets on their designated shows. They will be responsible for selling stand packages on events across the Culinary portfolio, whilst supporting clients with efficient and professional customer care.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Maximise all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Achieve and maintain high activity (over 40 dials a day - 5 effective calls)
- Achieve agreed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Arrange and attend meetings with potential new clients
- Proactively lead source from all other mediums
- Maintain, develop and manage sales database including record of key contacts and sales communication
- Work closely with members of the sales team to develop ideas and approaches
- Report on sales activity and sales results on demand
- Ability to manipulate/translate visitor-marketing strategies/plans into exhibitor sales benefits.
- Maintain and update floor plan.
- Ability to write sales mailers to the database
- Liaise with other internal departments/functions - marketing, operations, conferences, accounts, PR etc.
- Conduct client meetings and networking activities confidently
- Ensure re-booking process is implemented to achieve required targets
- Retain integrity of events by adhering to set processes and maintaining high yield
- Develop an in depth understanding of the market landscape
- Contribute ideas to develop the event - read trade press, knowledge to spot new opportunities
- Execute a consistent and well thought out sales communication schedule
- Able to take a brief, manage your own agenda and deliver on it independently
- Ensure all agreed processes are adhered to and implemented with excellent attention to detail
- Create a customer care programme to maintain strong relationships, ensures excellent on site deliver and drives show loyalty
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances
- Regular weekend work where you may be required to travel to events in line with the Arts & Entertainment portfolio, including The Big Feastival and Natural History Museum Ice Rink.
- Outside of event travel, there will be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.

Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrable/established experience in sales/ event sales
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, ideally in event sales
- High IT competency; knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office programmes
- Good telesales experience and results
- Experience of sales planning

Working Conditions:
- The work location is Chiswick Park, London.
- This is a permanent contract.
- Working hours are 9-5 pm.
- Occasional weekend work where you may be required to travel to events
- Occasional outside of event travel, there will be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role
