We are looking for a talented and creative Digital Graphic Designer who will work under managerial direction, providing design and creative solutions for marketing and sales needs for PBR.com and affiliated sites. The Digital Graphic Designer works in a fast paced, dynamic, creative environment with the ability to multi-task.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work and experience in a variety of digital design disciplines, including web design, UI/UX design, and email graphics. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team and will be passionate about creating visually appealing and engaging designs that help us achieve our strategic goals.

The position will report to the Director of Digital Operations with a dotted-line relationship to the in-house Creative Director and Creative team.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather and evaluate user and business requirements in collaboration with managers and developers.
  • Create and design digital assets for a variety of marketing channels, including websites, mobile app, email marketing and digital sales/marketing collateral from start to final production.
  • Translate creative concepts into visually appealing and engaging designs.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
  • Identify and troubleshoot website UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct website UX layout adjustments based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives across all PBR digital platforms.
  • Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies. Supports other designers in learning new approaches to design and efficiency in the digital space.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality in all work produced, adhering to style standards and digital best practices for fonts, colors and images.

What We're Looking For

This role requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in graphics or a related area plus 3-5 years of strong work experience in an agency, design firm, or corporate in-house digital graphics department.

Other qualifications include:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Macintosh computers and graphics-related software
  • Strong digital portfolio of work
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and digital layout programs like Figma is a must. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Experience with web design and UI/UX design
  • Advanced skills in layout design, typography and some illustration abilities a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present information, respond to questions and work with the cross-functional teams
  • Proven outstanding ability to work under pressure, be flexible with work hours, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Some weekends, extended hours, and travel may be necessary
