Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations
VXrail/VCF/VMware
Must Have Skills: VXrail Operations, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vCenter & ESXi ICM experience, VMware vSAN
Technical and Professional Requirements:
• Deploy SDDC Manager (VCF) to manage the entire HCI VxRack SDDC/VxRail environment for logical, physical, and capacity issues.
• Provide technical deep dives on VMware's Hyper-Converged Infrastructure vision, vSAN product, VxRail Appliances and SDDC Manager Appliance (Cloud Foundation) Solutions
• Worked on VxRail and VCF upgrades like 7.0.482 to 8.0.201 and 4.5.2 to 5.XX
• Have hands on experience in implementing a vSAN HCI VxRail Hyper Converged solution on Dell hardware platform and the hypervisor used was VMware ESXi 6.x or 7.x. 8.x
• Integrate SDDC Manager solution with VMware Aria Products (Operations Manager, Operations for Logs, Operation for Network logs and Automation)
• Drive the architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), focusing on running modern workloads, from mission critical VM workloads to containerized apps.

• Utilize hands-on experience with VMware solutions and tools, including VMware vSphere 6.x, 7.x and 8.x, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), VMWare Aria, vCloud Director and vCloud Foundation.
• Enable the Password rotation policy, update and remediate for all the VCF components.
• Expertise in vSphere, ESXi hypervisor, vSAN, SDDC Manager and NSX-T on cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of vCenter 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 8.0, and ESXi Hypervisor 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 8.0.
• Experience with Chassis Management (HP/DELL/LENOVO/IBM/CISCO), FlexSwitch, Fabric Interconnect configuration, and SAN storage.
• Experience in handling different Server Hardware involving Hardware replacement procedure steps for Disk, raid controller card (PERC), CPU and any physical components replacement process steps in VCF on VxRail Environment.
• Involve in VxRail precheck, upgrades process and VCF on VxRail upgrade procedure like SDDC manager, vCenter, VxRail, NSX update..
