Job Description :
  • The key responsibilities include:
  • Being responsible and accountable for driving Support & Maintenance operations and work with a proactive approach to avoid solution/system service disruption.
  • Service Delivery: Provide management oversight for the day-to-day application management operations, including risk mitigation and service quality management; coordinate and facilitate formal communication channels between AMS teams, business, and management; manage support activities; drive continuous improvements and innovation to optimize costs and improve end user satisfaction.
  • Incident Management: Engage with the AMS team on Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents and facilitate communications and escalations with the client and with SaaS providers and any other third-party vendors. Drive the major incident call wherever applicable.
  • Release Management: Plan and manage the releases including impact analysis, risk management, testing, release deployment, and escalation of issues with the help from application track leads.
  • People Development: Provide leadership and management in staffing the team and day-to-day people development and management.
  • Governance: Support the improvement of the AMS governance and standardization of processes and reporting. Ensuring the respect of all processes and governance established in the environment. Ensuring by means of regular connects with team that the team adheres to the incident management processes agreed with customer (Handling of incidents, CRQ's, LCM activities, DR activities etc)
Experience Required:

Should have atleast 2-3 years of experience in directly managing AMS engagement with overall experience of 10 years and above.

Has experience of managing/utilizing ticketing tool, deriving dashboards, driving/monitoring team performance.

Has managed customers directly and has experience of getting into difficult and critical discussions with customers.

Has good analytical, problem-solving and articulation skills

Skillset required: RPG, RPGLE, CL, ISERIES, ALDON, COBOL, EDI, Trusted link
