Job Description:

Designit is looking for an Onsite IT Support Specialist for the Technology Centers of our enterprise client. This role supports the teams and stakeholders at these centers in ensuring the IT Infrastructure, AV, and Demo environments are deployed, configured, maintained, rack and stacked, and secured to deliver high-quality experiences and engagements to our external customers. This includes pre, intra, and post support of customer events or engagements.

The ideal candidate is both collaborative and assertive, has strong communication skills, patience, logical thinking, and strong attention to detail. They should be comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and demonstrate a customer-obsessed mindset in support of high-quality experiences.

Would you like to...

  • Provide onsite smart hands support for the core network and compute infrastructure at the technology centers.
  • Manage technical oversight and support for onsite experiences and demos.
  • Engage in Azure Identify and Access Management for local Azure Sub Resource level administration.
  • Deploy and configure new hardware infrastructure including laptops, desktops, network switches, and related components to support demo environments and onsite experiences.
  • Hands-on role involving physical setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, AV systems, and demo environments, requiring direct interaction with hardware and customer-facing technologies.
  • Configure and deploy new hardware onto the network.
  • Understanding of how to create new instances on the cloud and operating them.
  • Operate and maintain audio-visual systems within the technology centers, assisting with coordination of repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Support presenters and attendees during events, ensuring high-level technical support and coordination.

What you bring...
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of related experience in IT Support roles, with a strong preference for in-person customer facing experience.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting products such as Windows, Azure, Office 365 suite, Teams, Surface, etc.
  • Experience with AV Systems like Logitech, Extron, Crestron is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in the primary local language of the site you are supporting.
  • Ability to work onsite at Microsoft experience center in Houston


Mandatory Skills: Technical Support .

Experience: 3-5 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $110,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
