Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Selenium with Java, REST API testing. This role demands strong proficiency in test framework design, script development, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Perform REST API testing using Java, Cucumber, and tools like Postman, REST Assured, and Soap UI.
• Apply ATDD/BDD methodologies using Cucumber, Java, Ruby-Selenium, and Maven.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, plans, and scenarios.
• Ensure data consistency through backend testing using SQL queries across databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and MariaDB.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Maintain version control using GitHub and manage test environments using Visual Studio Code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Ruby, VB Script, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber
• Proficient in API testing tools: REST Assured, Postman, Soap UI.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with complex queries for data validation.
• Excellent documentation skills for writing Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases, and Defect Metrics.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
