Role - Technical Product Owner (EPM)

Location - New Bruniswik NJ ( Hybrid)

Position - Full time

Wipro is seeking a Technical Product Owner, IT Manager, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) who will work at the intersection of business & technology to define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives, challenges, with technology solutions and extending them into development execution, value realization & ongoing product management. You will support the EPM Anaplan Product for the Enterprise Planning squads in ensuring technology is enabling the process designed while keeping an evolution mind set in continuous improvement of the product supporting these areas of the FP&A process. This includes planning, forecasting, reporting, and advanced analytics / machine learning / artificial intelligence, where applicable to the future state process.

Key Activities include:

• Accountable for designing, building, validating and deploying solutions enabled in Anaplan to support the Planning and Forecasting processes for Enterprise models which span across Operating Expenses, Labor & Headcount, Balance Sheet, Capital, Sector Consolidations, Tax, Intercompany Charges, Long Range Financial Planning and Target Setting

• Mobilizing teams, motivating and holding squad & key partners accountable to deliver

• Ensure the evolution of the product in line with the technology Roadmap

• Accountable to ensure that product development efforts incorporate an approach that start with experimentation to validate expected impact, includes human centered design, follows agile principles, incorporates external insights, required end to end process optimizations, and compliance engagement

• Responsible for the understanding and translating business problems faced by the finance function supported, into a value case & comprehensive set of solutions spanning process, technology, data, governance & user experience.

• Accountable for the definition of the expected value impact of investments across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance

• Collaborate with product management teams to ensure roadmaps are oriented to deliver finance business & technology strategy, value creation objectives, and measurable key performance indicators

We would expect you to have the following technical expertise:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (Enterprise Planning areas a plus)

• EPM solutions (i.e. Anaplan, Hyperion, IBM)

• Advanced analytics

• People management skills

• Operating in a build framework leveraging product management tools like Jira

• Artificial intelligence / machine learning (an asset)

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent.

• 5+ years of professional business and relevant Information Technology experience is required.

• Prior work experience in developing tools supporting the financial planning and budgeting process, such as TM1, Hyperion, and/or Anaplan is required.

• Experience with all aspects product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology is required.

• Strong leadership, communication and social skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills is required

• Experience working with external partners to bring products/services to market strongly desired.

• Ability to motivate and encourage people and make tough decisions, when necessary, in a timely manner.
