Job Description

As an SAP TM Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Transportation Management solutions tailored to client logistics and supply chain needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize transportation planning, execution, and freight cost management.

K ey responsibilities :

• Lead and support SAP TM implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.
• Configure SAP TM components including Forwarding Orders, Freight Units, Planning, Freight Orders, Charge Calculation, and Settlement.
• Analyze and optimize transportation processes using SAP TM functionalities.
• Integrate SAP TM with other modules such as SAP SD, MM, EWM, and FI.
• Conduct blueprinting, gap analysis, and end-to-end process design.
• Create functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Support data migration activities using SAP Data Migration Cockpit.
• Provide end-user training and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables.
• Stay current with SAP TM advancements and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong command of SAP TM and SAP SD modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate Methodology.
• Familiarity with SAP Signavio, SAP Sustainability, and SAP S/4HANA Conversion.
• Experience with freight planning, optimizer, and TM-FI integration.
• Understanding of transportation master data and shipment execution.
• Ability to manage EDI interfaces with carriers.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• SAP TM certification is a plus.

E xperience requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP SD and TM implementations.
• At least 5 full-cycle SAP TM project implementations.
• Experience in logistics applications and supply chain planning.
• Exposure to cross-industry transportation scenarios.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.
