Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Upstream Wells engineer with experience in Well Planning and design to join our team. The successful candidate will provide testing and support for the Wells Construction product development for our pioneer partner. The personnel would be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and your technical expertise will be critical to the success of product delivery

Key Responsibilities:Provide testing support for Well Construction product developmentWork closely with the Business functions to understand and outlines the business requirements and translate them into test designEnsure thorough validation of the business processes and workflows for the product suite following standard testing practicesCreation of Functional test cases based on the feature requirements and maintain bi directional traceabilityReport logical defects, triage with the development team and track them to closurePerform different levels of testing, including smoke, regression and system integrationFacilitate UAT by engaging with the business teams and end client SMEsManage backlog in the ALM too
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations, with a focus on drilling.Strong understand of Well LifecycleGood understanding of Well Construction business processes, from trajectory design, well planning, BHA to tubular designStrong knowledge of drilling technologies and practices
Experience with Well Planning and design applications, such as EDM/ EDT, DrillPlan etc.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Hands on experience on engineering application testing and good understand if ALMExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work on-call and extended hours as needed.
Mandatory Skills: Upstream - Oil and Gas .
