Required Skills

• Proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python-based web frameworks.

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with healthcare data standards.

• Strong understanding of FHIR R4 UK and SNOMED CT data models.

• Familiarity with asynchronous data aggregation and caching strategies.

• Experience working with AWS services, including Secrets Manager.

• Ability to implement purpose-based access control, including role mapping and data suppression.

• Comfortable working in a containerized development environment (e.g., Docker).

• Experience with mono-repo architecture and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of pluggable authentication mechanisms (e.g., CIS2, Optum Healthcare One).

• Strong collaboration skills to work with frontend, data, and integration teams.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in healthcare or NHS-related projects.

• Knowledge of MIG connectors and EMR integration strategies.

• Familiarity with FHIR mapping tools or libraries.

• Exposure to Material UI and frontend-backend integration patterns.

• Experience with Rally or similar Agile project management tools.
