This role belongs to our German subsidiary Wipro Technologies GmbH with a headquarter in Frankfurt. This role is open for all locations in Germany, preferably Munich.

Wipro is a leading Service Provide in Automotive Engineering with 2000+ engineers working globally serving multiple leading OEMs & Tiers'1s. Wipro's Automotive footprint is growing fast in Europe. To enable this growth journey and build a global team, Wipro is building a strong team in Germany, comprising of Program Manager, Project Leaders and Architects who can help to acquire new automotive product development projects and enable German Wipro engineering team to deliver those.

Your working area & responsibilities
  • In depth software development skills and operative (practical) product engineering development exposure (Must Have).
  • Leading a globally distributed team, Execution of large programs and taking those to Mass Production.
  • Customer-oriented mindset along with continuous improvement initiatives and the ability to work independently.
  • Responsible for end-to-end ownership of execution and delivering the milestones on committed schedule, cost and quality.
  • Task planning, tracking, dependencies and risks identification & mitigation, action items tracking, reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Status reporting to stakeholders up to CXO levels, Negotiations and escalation management.
  • Discussions with customer counterparts to understand the big picture & customer needs and priorities and work towards making customers successful.
Your skillset
  • OEM/Tier-1/Automotive Engineering experience with an educational degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Mechatronics & minimum 5 years of experience in Innovation and Project/Program management
  • Experience working in ADAS/AD/IVI/Telematics/Product Security/Functional Safety domains and handling large production programs.
  • Strong experience in leading a globally distributed development team
  • Knowledge on compliance - ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ASPICE
  • Knowledge on Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
