Job Description

8 years Firewall Design & Architecture

• Design and implement complex firewall architectures using Palo Alto Networks technologies.
• Develop secure network solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Advanced Configuration & Management

• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention features.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and failover configurations.

Troubleshooting & Incident Response

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network and security issues.
• Analyze logs, packet captures, and traffic flows to resolve issues efficiently .

Security Policy Management

• Define and enforce security policies and access controls.
• Regularly audit and optimize firewall rules and configurations.

Upgrades & Patch Management

• Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patches with minimal downtime.
• Ensure compatibility and stability post-upgrade.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor firewall performance and security events using tools like Panorama, SNMP, and Syslog.
• Generate reports for compliance, audits, and internal reviews.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Palo Alto technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in projects

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to change management and incident response protocols.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate firewalls with SIEM, SOAR, and other security tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or APIs.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with clients or internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide pre-sales support and technical input for proposals.

Mandatory Skills: Cisco Firewalls and VPN .

Experience: 8-10 Years .

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
