Job Description
8 years Firewall Design & Architecture
- Design and implement complex firewall architectures using Palo Alto Networks technologies.
- Develop secure network solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
Advanced Configuration & Management
- Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention features.
- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and failover configurations.

Troubleshooting & Incident Response
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network and security issues.
- Analyze logs, packet captures, and traffic flows to resolve issues efficiently .
Security Policy Management
- Define and enforce security policies and access controls.
- Regularly audit and optimize firewall rules and configurations.
Upgrades & Patch Management
- Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patches with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compatibility and stability post-upgrade.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor firewall performance and security events using tools like Panorama, SNMP, and Syslog.
- Generate reports for compliance, audits, and internal reviews.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Palo Alto technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in projects
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to change management and incident response protocols.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate firewalls with SIEM, SOAR, and other security tools.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or APIs.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with clients or internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide pre-sales support and technical input for proposals.
Mandatory Skills: Cisco Firewalls and VPN .
Experience: 8-10 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
