Location : Mumbai
  • Experience Required: Minimum 10 Years
  • Skills:
  • -In-depth expertise in Oracle Database implementation and administration across 11g, 12c, 19c and above in OLTP/OLAP production environments.
  • -Strong experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN and Grid Infrastructure.
  • -Hands-on experience with Oracle database upgrades and migrations (physical, logical) within on-premises datacenters
  • -Proficiency in backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning and high availability configurations.
  • -Expertise in database design, resolving data conflicts, managing data quality and enforcing schema and naming standards.
  • -Experience in performance tuning, SQL tuning and analysis using AWR/ASH reports.
  • -Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), PL/SQL scripting, shell scripting and automation tools.
  • -Familiarity with partitioning, compression, data masking and auditing features.
  • -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • -Ability to understand and interpret High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • -Plan, design, and validate Oracle database migration strategies, Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and Proof of Approach (POA) documents.
  • -Identify and mitigate risks, technical gaps, and performance bottlenecks during the migration lifecycle
  • -Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including SOPs, rollback plans, cutover procedures and post-migration validation checklists.
  • -Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams and project stakeholders to ensure seamless migrations and minimal downtime.
  • -Ensure compliance with data security, audit requirements, backup retention policies and change management processes.
  • -Provide regular status updates, maintain risk logs and submit migration progress reports to project management and stakeholders.
