Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and robust security posture.
• Manage and optimize F5 load balancers for high availability and secure application delivery.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, intrusion prevention, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Integrate and maintain Cisco ISE for network access control and identity-based policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Cloud security deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Conduct security assessments, firewall rule audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents, escalating to vendors when required.
• Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and network diagrams.
• Participate in on-call rotations for security-related incidents.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto (PanOS) and FortiGate firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management.
• Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSL/TLS, BGP, OSPF.
• Experience with F5 LTM/GTM configuration and management.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE policy configuration and integration.
• Incident response and security monitoring skills.
• Solid understanding of network segmentation, Zero Trust architecture, and access control models.

Added Advantages

• Cloud security experience (AWS Security Groups, Azure NSG, GCP Firewall rules).
• Scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or equivalent).
• Industry certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4, F5-CTS, CCNP Security, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty.
