Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to provide timely, accurate and quality MIS reports, dashboards to the external & internal stakeholders of account(s) as per the defined process and standards of security and compliance

Key Responsibilities

MIS & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for production, quality scores, SLA adherence, and risk indicators

  • Enable visual dashboarding for proactive governance and predictable operations

  • Conduct root cause analysis for SLA misses and quality defects; track corrective actions to closure

  • Perform time and motion studies, Gemba walks, and SUT analysis to identify productivity gains

Mortgage Operations Support
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure lending rationales and assess risk using credit, income, and fraud data

  • Support end-to-end mortgage application review, including buy-to-let and residential loans

  • Leverage tools like LexisNexis, Accurint, and credit reference agencies for forensic underwriting and fraud detection

Process Risk & Compliance
  • Conduct FMEA studies to identify failure modes and design mitigation controls

  • Monitor compliance controls in RMP (Risk Management Plans) and support audits at transition toll gates

  • Document process maps, SOPs, and SIPOCs in collaboration with operations

Training & Quality Enablement
  • Drive quality DNA by coaching teams on Lean Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA, and data analysis

  • Organize ideation drives and feedback loops from client surveys to identify improvement opportunities


Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in mortgage operations, MIS reporting, or underwriting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with compliance tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Accurint) and regulatory frameworks.
