Wipro's Domain & Consulting (D&C) group recently moved to it's own Global Business Line reporting directly into the CEO. This evolution of our business is aligned to our clients' strategic priorities, and will allow us to

This career opportunity within our career framework is at manager level and is for the CETRM Consulting business unit. The role will lead growth of the Wipro Technologies GmbH consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
The disciplinary manager for this position is Harry Mueller, the location of the role is Essen, although we welcome applicants from across Germany. People with disabilities with appropriate suitability are in favour.
We are looking for someone who will lead the project in various roles including Technical Lead, Development Lead, Solution Architect and Technical SME . He/she will own/drive/manage the solution design and architecture and will lead all the phases of the implementation. Manage IT stakeholders.
Areas of focus:
- 8+ years of functional experience on Aligne platform
- Working closely with Front/Middle/Back Office, Operations and Finance business users and be responsible for gathering, documenting, and delivering requirements and use cases through to user acceptance and implementation.
- Partnering with business users you will work as part of a diverse project team and be recognised as an Aligne expert
- Business knowledge in Power and LNG Supply and Trading activities in UK/Europe Markets is a must.
- Aligne system configuration to support Power, CO2, GO and Nat Gas Portfolios - Physical Trading and Financial trading
- Aligne configuration for Confirmations, Settlement invoicing and scheduling in the US markets
- Strong functional and hands on configuration experience of Aligne.
- Candidate will be required to assimilate customer and market needs in project; Must have experience in following
- Translating there requirements into product features; writing product specifications. Giving directions to Solution team preparing solutions for building new product features. Preparing / reviewing solutions including workflows, User interfaces, and business logic processing to ensure they meet the product features / specification requirements.
- Capturing client requirements and documenting a functional solution
- Ensuring that the solution functional specification are consistent with best software analysis, design and implementation guidelines
- Configuring the technical solution to match the solution design
- Oversee testing of the specific work stream
- Supporting the development process by advising developers and technical staff on business context
- Work with the in-house support, QA and development teams to help drive the platform's usage through the end client
