Job Description:

Linux Administrator

• • Must be good in Linux Administration.
    
    • LVM concept - FS creation, extension, and troubleshooting.
    
    • Multipath concept - Validating multipath, adding Luns and enabling multipath.
    
    • Ensure performance specifications ate met.
    
    • Evaluate and correct OS vulnerabilities by patching the servers (patching).
    
    • Coordinating with different vendor in case of any Hardware and OS level issues.
    
    • Log rotation and managing FS usage, Changing permission/ ownership etc.
    
    • Implementing changes as per application team and DB team requirement at OS level.
    
    • Follow Do's and Don't as per SLA. Wirpo and Customer Process adherence while handling BAU.
    
    • Service management (NTP, SSH, AUTOFS etc)
    
    • Fixing server access and bootable issues (including fixing grub).
