Ø Installation, Configuration, Administration and troubleshooting of ESX & Virtual Centre, VI Client.

Ø VM Servers build & rebuild (Deploying the new VM's from the Template and Cloning an Existing VM) as per the client request.
Ø Upgrading ESX/ESXi servers and Virtual Center servers using VMware Update manager.
Ø Identify and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure.
Ø P2V Monitoring VM's & Servers ( CPU, Memory, Disk, Network Utilization).
Ø Creating templates from VM's and deploy VM's from templates and allocate resources.
Ø Configuring DRS in a Cluster and the DRS Automation Level Using DRS Affinity Rules.
Ø Configuring and Managing HA Settings and Customizing HA for Virtual Machines.
Ø V2V conversions by using VMware Converter.
Ø Creating the Clusters, Resources pools, Template & Clone in ESX
Ø Patch Management in ESX Servers & Windows Servers through update Manager to keep infrastructure safe.
Ø Creating and managing virtual machines and installing VM Tools into VM's.
Ø Migrating Virtual Machines by using V-Motion Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations.
Ø Working on optimizing networking concepts like creation V-Switches, different types of port groups.
Ø Addressing security vulnerabilities & bug fixes in timely manner to keep infrastructure safe.
Ø Working on complex ESX Environment & dedicated ESX Clusters using VRO workflow
Ø Working with ITSO Service Owners for Critical ESX Severs for upgrade viz Firmware & Patching
Ø Creating and Managing User Administration and generating bulk user accounts as per requirement.
Ø Reset passwords for Users as per requirement.
Ø Assigning rights and privileges to users to access files and folders.
Ø Changing Network adapter from E-1000 to VMXNET3
Ø Scheduling Backup and Restoring Backups as on required.
Ø Managing in large complex ESX Hosts, Clusters & VCenter
Ø Applying best practices & applying, as shared by engineering team to improve the VMWare Environment.
Ø ESX SSL Console certificate Management - (Need to Renew certificate before expiry)
Ø Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their VMware-related concerns and inquiries.
Ø Following Change Management Order process through OMNI Tool- (Automated tool which runs through templates & scripts) & and adhering with HSBC defined standards to ensure the quality is not compromised.

Mandatory Skills: VMware Server Admin.

Experience: 5-8 Years.
