Job Description: Flexera ServiceNow Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Flexera ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions that integrate Flexera Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities with the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and hands-on experience with Flexera tools to help optimize license usage, cost savings, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITAM modules to integrate with Flexera One/FNMS.

• Develop automation workflows, business rules, and scripts in ServiceNow for asset lifecycle management.

• Implement and maintain Flexera data connectors to import license, entitlement, and usage data into ServiceNow.

• Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor software compliance, cost optimization, and usage trends.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between Flexera and ServiceNow.

• Ensure alignment with SAM best practices, compliance standards, and organizational governance.

• Support upgrade activities, patching, and ongoing platform enhancements.

• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.



Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 8 years of ServiceNow development experience (custom apps, workflows, scripting).

• Strong knowledge of Flexera One / FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS).

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM/SAM Pro modules.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow Studio, and REST/SOAP integrations.

• Experience working with CMDB, discovery tools, and license reconciliation processes.

• Understanding of software licensing models (perpetual, SaaS, subscription).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS - SAM/ITAM).

• Flexera Certified Professional.

• Experience with cloud cost management (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SaaS management.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL processes.

    • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
    • Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
    • Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/ initiatives for the organization or team
