We are seeking a JIRA Admin with expertise in Groovy scripting to customize and automate JIRA workflows, create custom fields, and develop scripted validators and post-functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring JIRA using Groovy scripts to meet specific business requirements. - Jira Administration:
Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, and notification schemes. Manage user access, permissions, and security. - Groovy Scripting & Automation:
Develop and implement complex automation rules, scripted validators, post-functions, and listeners using Groovy scripts and tools like ScriptRunner. Automate administrative tasks and integrate Jira with other systems. - Customization & Enhancement:
Extend Jira's capabilities by creating custom plugins or behaviors, and implementing solutions using the Atlassian Plugin SDK. - Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide expert-level support to Jira users, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. - Documentation & Training:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Jira configurations, scripts, and processes. Develop and deliver training materials for users. - Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Jira solutions.
Mandatory Skills: Groovy Scripting .
Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
