• Hybrid module of work from our Warsaw office.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing Java, Spring framework, and React to deliver seamless user experiences and scalable backend services.
• Create, document, and consume RESTful APIs that enable efficient communication between front-end interfaces and backend data services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.
• Manage data storage, retrieval, and database design using relational and NoSQL databases to support application features and reporting needs.
• Implement software quality measures including unit and integration testing (e.g., JUnit), and participate actively in code reviews to uphold coding standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools while maintaining security best practices such as authentication and authorization within software components.
• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in cloud or on-premise environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate generative AI capabilities to enhance system intelligence and automation.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
• Solid hands-on experience with frontend technologies including React, Redux, AngularJS, JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS for building responsive, single-page applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with software integration principles and knowledge of data structures to efficiently handle complex data operations.
• Experience working in Agile development environments with practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, and JIRA.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell environment and basic scripting capabilities to support deployment and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and exposure to related orchestration technologies.
• Understanding of security principles, including authentication and authorization schemes, embedded within application design.
• Experience or willingness to adopt and integrate generative AI (GenAI) approaches within software systems.
• Additional experience with Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Vert.x is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication and collaborative abilities.
