Job Title: Java Developer (Mid level)
Experience Level: 5 years
Location: Warsaw, Poland Hybrid (2-3 days/week from client office)
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Java Engineer with strong experience in building scalable web services and supporting production systems in fast-paced environments. This role blends software development with site reliability engineering, focusing on automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of system performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for producers and consumers, ensuring high standards of security and reliability.
Work with Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases for data modeling and integration.
Develop and deploy microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.
Use logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Humio, and Grafana for issue triage and system observability.
Write clean, maintainable code following established coding guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in planning, development, testing, and release cycles.
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills to resolve complex production issues.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development or test engineering.
Proven experience in highly scalable web services and containerized architectures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
