Job Description

The IT Site Operations Analyst is supporting all IT Operations on their site(s). They deliver a consistent business focused approach through site IT Operations to unlock business value and respond to change with agility and speed. The role benefits from standardized ways of working while recognizing and supporting functional differences. The IT Site Operations Analyst must build and manage trust-based relations with site business user community and business IT representatives and is responsible for the site integrity and services. He/She works in close collaboration with the IT Site Operations Lead, who is end-to-end accountable for the IT infrastructure operations of site(s), including the delivery of day-to-day site level infrastructure services to the agreed SLAs.

Purpose and Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the IT project team for various project activities and ensures most effective way of delivery (including improving outcomes and reducing costs)
  • Ensures HSSE rules are respected by internal and external IT teams and partners on site(s) (Goal Zero) Ensuring contractors are meeting all HSSE requirements and storing related evidence
  • Responsible for site Information Risk Management (IRM) compliance and actively driving remediation of local vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
  • Escalating site IT problems and business impact to Site Operations Lead (SOL) and/or IT Partners
  • Promoting Continuous Improvement culture within own scope of accountability, i.e. Service Improvements, Ways of Working, Cost reduction, Capacity Mgmt.
  • Supporting any facilitation activities from IT perspective including mass on-boarding, Transfer and Off-boarding
  • Digitalization support, BIG Bets (for example real time decisions, autonomous operation, fully digitized workflow etc.), Emerging Tech, bucket 3 site-driven demand, Lightly Managed Apps (LMA) to IT support.

  • End User Productivity/End User Experience and associate IT services, IT Centre, end user tool knowledge and education (Asset upskilling)

Special Challenges:

  • To ensure successful landscape service performance partnership needs to be built with the IDT Managers, IT Operations Engineers for BC and non-BC applications and the Business Vertical & Common Services Delivery Managers.
  • Strong ownership that ensures proactive and further active involvement in all projects that have IT infrastructure/operations element.
  • Should have an excellent grounding in IT infrastructure solutions, operations, particularly in the network space. Also show strong knowledge in related areas such as IT Service Management.
  • Strong dotted line to local natural team (e.g. Real Estate/HSSE/Asset Protection) supporting all aspects of site(s) operations.
  • Business proximate role.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in complex organization or equivalent
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in systematically troubleshooting complex issues to a root cause and reporting out to stakeholders in business language
  • Skilled in investigating and fixing complex issues across organizational boundaries, including vendors
  • Emotional intelligence (i.e., patience, listening, self-reflective, thoughtful, ability to build trusting relationships, reasoning, and understanding)
  • Strong relationship and influencing skills with people at all levels in the organization and in diverse cultures.
  • Ability to work with other disciplines in a global environment, and to bridge technical, commercial and IT skills.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations
  • Ability to work effectively and maintain composure under pressure
  • Native German speaker
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
