As a Finance Controller Lead at Wipro Philippines Inc, you will play a vital role in overseeing the finance and accounts functions within our dynamic CFO Office. This position demands a thorough understanding of local accounting practices and compliance requirements specific to the Philippines, including PEZA regulations and statutory reporting. Your insights, expertise, and analytical skills will directly contribute to ensuring compliance and driving financial performance within our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of local accounting standards, compliance processes, and regulations within the Philippines.
- Oversee local PEZA reporting, effectively manage information inflow, monitor assets, and conduct risk mitigation reporting to enhance financial governance.
- Prepare and review the Monthly Performance Report (MPR) and maintain the CAS books accurately to ensure successful financial tracking.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of local accounting books with GAAP related adjustments, embracing real-time tracking for accuracy.
- Facilitate external coordination for compliance with Philippine statutory requirements, liaising effectively with local consultants, BIR, and SEC accounting reporting.
- Act as the data custodian for financial records, ensuring the secure archiving and timely filing of PEZA reporting documents.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills to drive unit-wide objectives and foster a cohesive working environment among the finance team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, management accounting, or finance is required; higher education is a plus.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a BPO setting is essential, demonstrating adaptability to diverse finance functions.
- Proficiency in local accounting practices and compliance reporting is mandatory.
