EPIC Implementation support SME

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop custom interconnect endpoints and Vendor Services applications following Agile development methodologies in a team environment

• Define/Model Chronicles data objects in support of project development objectives

• Engage with Epic TC/TS in support of technical design and vendor approval processes

• Mentor other team members in the development of Chronicles and Interconnect structures and compliance.
• Innovation environment requires flexibility and interest in learning new technologies and software development practices
• Work with Technical Lead to define requirements for overall integrated solution
• Work with architects to understand and contribute to the solution

• Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to proficiently resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting design changes
• Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards
• Tests and validates coding to ensure accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and scalability
• Uses technical knowledge, experience and root cause analysis to resolve development and production support issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development team and processes
• Enable CI/CD pipeline for the software components, implement code coverage, unit tests, code scans
• Work with testing team to develop test scenarios and facilitate testing
• Fix production defects
• Collaborate with Global teams

Required Qualifications:
  • Epic Cache DBA Certification
  • Epic Interconnect Programmer Certification
  • Epic Chronicles Programmer Certification
  • 10 years of experience working in Healthcare IT environment in support of Epic implementation
  • 5+ years of experience developing chronicles and interconnect code
  • 8+ years of experience with REST APIs
    • 8+ years of experience in using Git and DevOps for CI/CD process
    • 8+ years of experience with Azure Cloud development
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Multi Cloud environments.
• Experience with FHIR APIs
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 Authentication
  • Experience mentoring a team in technical capacity
