Int roduction - About the Role
The Devops Engineer is responsible for the below:
- Define, consult & implement SRE / DevOps frameworks / pipelines for cloud native product/platform, resilience, availability along with high quality high frequency product releases.
- Analyse and implement CICD improvements for existing and new pipelines.
- Gather requirements for CICD automations and convert them into solution in line with objectives.
- Build POC for new tools and technologies.
- Show and tell / demos as per need.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new DevOps technologies.
- Build end-to-end CI/CD, deployment pipeline for microservices and complex COTS applications on cloud platforms.

- This role requires to develop CI/CD, IaC Pipelines. This requires strong hands-on skills on Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Shell, Python, Docker, Kubernetes tc,.
- Onboarding CI/CD, IaC pipeline in Jenkins
- Experience working in Python, Shell, Ansible
- Knowledge or experience in working on any Release Orchestration tools and Deployment tools (like TCA, NFVO etc)
- Experience working on any Cloud platform.
- Hands on experience on Build, scan, deployment tools
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Good knowledge on Linux/Unix
- Experience working in Telecom Domain will be advantage.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience in a DevOps engineer role responsible for developing and delivering CICD pipelines using industry standard CICD tools (development, testing, security, automation, IT infrastructure etc)
- Expertise and hands-on experience in developing and supporting consumer facing, high performance, scalable & reliable software product / platform on cloud PaaS services, IAC, automation, multi-cloud/hybrid cloud scenarios.
- Knowledge of modern Devops architecture patterns and engineering best practices
- Must have strong knowledge of DevOps tools setup and configurations.
- Strong understanding of SRE & DevOps Concepts
- In-depth understanding of DevOps configuration tools such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet etc.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
