Key Skills: Data Quality Rules, Data Profiling, Insurance Domain Knowledge, SSIS, SQL,

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data profiling and quality analysis on critical insurance data (claims, policies, customers).

Define and maintain data quality rules based on business and regulatory requirements.

Analyze and monitor data issues across upstream and downstream systems and prepare quality scorecards and dashboards.

Collaborate with data stewards, business teams, and developers to document source-to-target mappings and ensure adherence to standards.

Track data anomalies and provide input to ETL teams for remediation or transformation logic changes.

Participate in testing and validation phases of data migration or transformation projects

Design and implement data quality rules in ETL workflows to validate completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and conformity.

Identify and track data quality issues, root causes, and work with upstream teams for resolution.

Support reconciliation and audit processes for regulatory and internal compliance (e.g., IRDAI, NAIC)

Required Skills:

Proven experience in data quality assessment, profiling, and issue resolution.

Experience with data quality tools like Informatica DQ, Talend DQ, Ataccama, or Microsoft DQS.

Hands-on experience implementing quality checks like duplicate detection, null handling, format validation (e.g., policy number formats).

Automation Process optimization, reduction in process/ steps, reduction in no. of tickets raised 3.
